Spoken Worlds is a trading name for Gary Carr a Midlands based writer, poet, magazine editor and event organiser.
My aim in writing, mentoring and anthologising is always for quality. In
off-centre magazine I am aiming to showcase the best of the arts in the Midlands region.

A History
Spoken Worlds was created in 2009 by Gary Carr as a spoken word open mic night. The original open mic event finished in 2019 on its 10th birthday. The brand now produces Distractions open mic events, both online and live, off-centre arts showcase magazine and helps to enable other events around the Midlands. We have PA suitable for small, medium and moderately large rooms, and can put on hybrid live/online events.
Delivery & Returns
All products are delivered by royal mail second class post, though free delivery is an option in the Burton-on-Trent area. If you have a problem with undelivered or damaged items please contact us. At present delivery is to UK mainland.
